The Haier TwinCool Frequency Conversion ULT freezers use advanced frequency conversion compressors and dual independent hydrocarbon refrigeration systems to deliver stable ultra-low temperatures down to -80 °C with high energy efficiency and reliability.
Total ULT capacity increased for greater flexibility
With this latest investment, Airpharm now operates a total of 125 Haier TwinCool ULT units at its site in Pratteln, and 12 units in Rovello Porro, Italy. Each freezer is equipped with its own dedicated circuit breaker, ensuring a high level of operational safety and reliability. As a result of this expansion, Airpharm’s total ULT storage capacity has increased of +49%, to 94'550 liters. This capacity upgrade allows the company to better anticipate future needs, accommodate growing volumes, and provide even greater flexibility to its partners.
Preventive maintenance and continuous monitoring with SwissVacuum
In parallel, a structured maintenance plan has been implemented in close collaboration with SwissVacuum. This partnership ensures preventive maintenance, continuous performance monitoring, and long-term reliability of the equipment, reinforcing Airpharm’s commitment to quality and operational excellence.
